Veronica Sirotic is a writer based in Queens, New York.

Her work has been published in Lullaby Machine , ZAUM Magazine, and Tethered Literary (upcoming). Her essay “Clams” was long-listed for DISQUIET Literary Contest 2026.

She is currently developing a nonfiction memoir titled “Membrane,” a compilation of essays and short stories circling on themes of home, belonging, and queer identity and violence.

Veronica is currently pursuing a MFA at New York University in Creative Nonfiction as a fully-funded Goldwater Fellow. She is also an Assistant Nonfiction Editor for the Washington Square Review and coordinates the Emerging Writers Series at NYU.

Outside of writing, she loves to bike around the city, try new food in Queens, and watch terrible (amazing) reality television.
